A large global manufacturer is hiring Automatics Operators at its plant in Grantsburg, Wisconsin, just across the Minnesota border. The division is growing fast and has openings on 1st and 2nd shift, Monday to Friday. The plant makes precision-machined fluid connection parts used on agricultural, construction and industrial equipment.

You'll run multi-spindle automatic screw machines: proven, high-volume machines that turn out large runs of parts. The work rewards people who like to keep machines running and tinker with them. Machinists and hands-on mechanics, including anyone who has worked on or rebuilt engines, are a great fit, and the company provides training.

What You'll Do

• Set up, operate and adjust multi-spindle automatics, ISAMs, NoCAMs and Hydromats
• Install collets, tooling, cams and stops, and set feed rates and bar stock feed
• Run first pieces to verify setups and correct any variances
• Check parts with standard and precision gauges and keep SPC charts
• Grind and sharpen tools, deburr parts and keep tooling organized
• Keep oil and coolant levels up and perform preventive maintenance
• Work safely (PPE, lockout/tagout) and help with continuous improvement

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to read drawings and use shop math and precision measuring instruments
• Comfortable using computers and machine controls
• Able to work 1st or 2nd shift, plus overtime
• Able to lift 5 to 50 lbs regularly
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
