A large global manufacturer is hiring CNC Operators at its plant in Grantsburg, Wisconsin, just across the Minnesota border. The division is growing fast and is adding operators on 2nd and 3rd shift, with one opening on 1st. The plant makes precision-machined fluid connection parts used on agricultural, construction and industrial equipment.

You'll run, set up and adjust CNC lathes, including multi-spindle CNC lathes, to make precision parts to print. Experienced machinists and setup operators are a great fit, and newer operators are welcome too: the company provides training.

What You'll Do

• Operate, set up and adjust CNC lathes, including multi-spindle machines
• Read blueprints and programs, set tooling and offsets, and edit programs at the machine
• Run first pieces to verify setups and correct any variances
• Check parts with standard and precision gauges and keep SPC charts
• Deburr and handle finished parts with care
• Keep oil and coolant levels up and perform preventive maintenance
• Work safely (PPE, lockout/tagout) and help with continuous improvement

• Some CNC experience required
• Able to read drawings and use shop math and precision measuring instruments
• Comfortable using computers and machine controls
• Openings on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and weekend shifts, plus overtime
• Able to lift 5 to 50 lbs regularly
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
