We're placing a Field Service Engineer with a global leader in materials testing technology, deploying nationwide to install, calibrate, and support advanced testing systems across a wide range of industries. Autonomous work, high-impact results, and a team that values expertise. This is a high (90%+) overnight travel opportunity, sometimes flying, sometimes driving to locations across the US and possibly Canada and Mexico. Out the door on Mondays, usually not back until Friday. Rare weekends but it can happen.

What You'll Do:

• Install, service, and repair testing systems including drop-weight towers, torsion systems, temperature chambers, and medical testing equipment
• Calibrate equipment to applicable standards and prepare ISO/IEC 17025-compliant calibration reports
• Troubleshoot electronic and electro-mechanical devices using schematic and mechanical drawings
• Train customers on operation and software of machines
• Coordinate with the service scheduler to execute assignments efficiently across a nationwide territory (90% or more travel)

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent hands-on experience
• Eligibility to meet A2LA and ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation requirements
• Prior experience with universal destructive testing machines and/or technical metrology/calibration highly desired
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

• $55 per diem for meals, adds close to $14k to total comp
