The Modernization Supervisor will manage local modernization operations for this company out of Beltsville, MD. Your responsibilities include overseeing a team of roughly 40 union-represented field mechanics, handling everything from staffing and disciplinary actions to daily team management.

In this supervisory role you will review bid documents, survey job requirements with salespeople, and manage financials to ensure profitability on modernization jobs.

The role requires getting out into the field to interact with customers, inspecting complex job sites, and ensure safety guidelines are strictly followed.

• Candidates need 2+ years of Elevator industry experience (highly preferred).
• May consider construction or service expertise, along with supervisory experience.
• They must be able to understand the mechanical aspects of elevator systems or learn them quickly based on past experience.
• They must be able to collaborate with all levels of the organization and leverage new technologies to achieve business goals.
