This role sets up, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs progressive and single hit stamping dies used in high-volume production. It's a hands-on, highly skilled position for someone who can diagnose complex tooling issues, perform precision repairs, and keep production running at full speed.
What You'll Do:
- Perform die changeovers and press setups, ensuring proper alignment, shut height, and clearances
- Diagnose and repair die components including punches, die sections, springs, retainers, and wear plates
- Conduct preventative maintenance and tear-down inspections to identify wear and potential failures
- Perform precision surface grinding and tool sharpening to restore cutting geometry and tolerances
- Respond quickly to tooling-related downtime and verify dimensions with precision measuring equipment

Compensation: The expected base pay range for this role is $30 - $40 an hour + a 15% shift differential for evening shift. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.
