Job Description

This company is seeking full-time, dedicated Welders to join its heavy metal fabrication operations in Cleveland, OH. In this role, you will manufacture complex, high-spec fabrications for U.S. Navy submarines, construction equipment, power generation components, and defense programs. Working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and high-strength alloys, you will execute multi-pass MIG, TIG, and Flux-Cored welds. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, inspecting part dimensions, and performing torch cutting, grinding, and surface preparation. New hires participate in an intensive, fully paid 8-week training curriculum at the in-house Weld Institute to master Naval Code welding standards, providing an outstanding environment to advance your craft while doing work that protects and serves the nation.

Requirements
  • Technical Experience: Practical welding experience with one or more of GMAW (MIG), GTAW (TIG), or FCAW (Flux-Cored).
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and work off technical drawings, schematics, and weld symbols.
  • Mechanical Skill: Proficiency with shop hand tools, hand plasma, oxy-fuel cutting, and grinding equipment.
  • Testing Requirement: Ability to pass an internal weld test within the first 4 weeks of employment.
